Fractional CO2 Laser

WHAT IS IT?

Dermatologists use Fractional CO2 Lasers to cure acne scars, fine lines, as well as other skin abnormalities. It is a non-invasive process that uses a carbon dioxide laser to eliminate the damaged outer layers of the skin. The procedure is commonly performed on the face, but a Fractional CO2 Laser can also be used to treat the neck, hands, and arms, to name a few areas.

PROCEDURE

  • A local anesthetic cream is often applied to the problem area 30 to 45 minutes before the fractional CO2 laser treatment.
  • The procedure itself only takes 15 to 20 minutes.
  • It implements short-pulsed light energy which is continuously blasted through a scanning pattern to remove the damaged skin’s topmost layers.
  • This procedure stimulates the body’s natural healing process and boosts collagen production.

RESULTS

Fractional CO2 Laser is a great treatment for people with acne scars, fine lines, pigmentation, and also other skin conditions. The procedure replaces the old, damaged cells with new, healthy skin. It is however suggested that the clients should undergo a procedure with dermatologists only as it requires professional expertise.
